Our Achievements
our history
Upstream Resources LLC formed in 2000 to conduct exploration, scientific research, and economic assessment on industrial minerals, metals, and several other commodities (e.g. helium, kaolin, rare earth elements, silica sand). In 2002, our area of work expanded to include unconventional energy from oil sand, coalbed methane, shale gas, heavy oil, and geothermal resources.
Our main customers are large to mid-size mining companies and mid-size energy companies that want to evaluate new opportunities and either do not have the in-house expertise, do not want to utilize their personnel at an early stage of evaluation, or do not want to draw attention to their interest prematurely.

Since 2007 we have been providing services to an increasing number of smaller companies and strategic investors that have well-defined objectives.
Mid- and end-market consumers of mineral commodities are now an important group of clients as they seek to understand and establish resilience in their supply chain, improve integrity of supply, and achieve ESG objectives.
A distinguishing characteristic of Upstream Resources is that we develop long term relationships with our clients resulting in collaboration to achieve technical, commercial, and educational goals.
